Movers showed up on time and that is where it stops. They had 11 boxes from Home Depot, a bundle of wrapping paper,and a couple partial roles of tape for a full pack and load.
The supervisor, who I had called on the Friday prior, made four trips to town to get more boxes. How painful is that and we had two hours of down time for it!!
We never did get proper dish packs and had to use the standard HD boxes. For the furniture, they didnt have paper or cloth and after we used our 40 cloth pads we wound up using our own bed sheets on some of the antiques so they would at least have something to cover them. Then we had an argument about them placing boxes on top of the antiques. Finally, we stepped in and made them do the basics of tying the boxes to the side of the containers to prevent shifting, removing the book boxes from on top of the furniture and placing them on the floor, and going back into town for the fourth time to get the proper blankets for the anitques.
They didnt even have moving straps for the heavier pieces and wanted to use their dolly. Not good with antique wood pieces.
I am absolutely blown away that this group is even in business let alone endorsed by your company. The worst part, there is nothing you can do on the "day" when the keystone cops show up!
If you are serious about fixing this issue be brave enough to post these types of negative experiences on your web site and what you did to fix it. Seriously review your process for selecting outside companies to represent you. If you are not asking the right questions you are not going to get the information needed to prevent this type of train wreck. Finally, have some type of Fail Safe to offer in the event that a customer runs into a completely unprepared third party on the day.

Very nice and hard-working young men who obviously cared about their customer service and satisfaction. I would definitely use them for future moves and will recommend them to others. You need to use them as the main labor for your move requests.
