4/20/2013Portable Storage Load I am retired military and have moved roughly every 2-3 years for the last 20yrs and this was the worst experience I have had.
The two packers showed up on time but it was all down hill from there. They were slow, inefficient in their loading plan, missed items that were supposed to be loaded, and were generally careless.
I made an error in choosing a POD that was too small and that made loading harder as some items had to be set aside to be put in a UHaul, but they seemed to use this as an excuse to work poorly. They seemed more interested in shoving items in rather than wrapping them and placing them to avoid damage. Regretably, by end of the day I was so tired and so frustrated that I gave up and I am sure that will result in property damage and breakage.
All of above was compounded by fact that they showed up without a tool kit for furniture disassembly so in the middle of packing I had to go to a hardware store and when it came time to pay they didn't have their credit card reader and manually keyed in my information... very very slowly.
The crew left without a tip, which hasn't happened in my previous moves EVER, and I nearly froze the credit card payment to Christian Brothers, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle.
Very Very Dissatisfied.

Ernie was awesome! Professional and very sweet. The two packers Ernie brought on the first day were a little slow, I had hoped to get more packed that day. But the two mivers he brought the second day were great. They worked their butts off and I had a few very heavy items.
