6/17/2022Portable Storage Load We hired 2 men for 2 hours for the afternoon. Show up window was between noon and 2 p.m. The movers showed up unannounced with no warning other than knocking on our door at 11:15 a.m. We received 3 men for 2 hours but they weren't strongly men; they were each young skinny males so we were surprised. They only brought a dolly with them and used that to move heavy furniture. The leader Tyler for this move had an attitude as if he didn't want to work anymore that day. In his defense it was a really hot day and he had just come from another move. All 3 men were nice enough but Tyler really came across as annoyed and not wanting to be there. Nonetheless the 3 guys loaded up 4 of our relocubes and we thought they did a nice job until we opened up the cubes on the destination side and many things were damaged as they weren't stored properly when loading. I would not recommend using this company for loading any sort of pod if you don't want your stuff damaged. Also, the movers should always call or text their arrival especially if early as the homeowners might not be home. Lastly, you might want to do an interview before hiring this company as we felt the 3 guys they sent us were just young inexperienced teenagers which wasn't what we expected to receive to load 4 cubes from a 2 story home. We would not hire this company again.
