All About The Move is a licensed and insured LABOR FOR HIRE moving company serving Athens, GA and the surrounding areas. All About the Move offers the following services: PACKING, MOVING, LOADING, UN-LOADING, SET-UP, FURNITURE ASSEMBLY, ORGANIZATION & JUNK REMOVAL. We offer FREE moving estimates with NO deposits required on local moves. All About the Move helps the customer keep the cost of the move affordable by not owning their own trucks. We use rental trucks and can provide the driver with no additional charge. Customers consult with truck rental companies to determine the approximate size truck to rent which would alleviate the need for multiple trips. We do not use temps or day labor and all of our trained movers and drivers have been carefully screened and background checked. All About the Move charges on an hourly basis with NO HIDDEN FEES. (ie: no helper charge, no mileage charge, no weekend or evening charge, no driver charge.) Our goal is to exceed your expectations and to help make your move stress-free. Movers were incapable of moving boxes and furniture that the previous movers loading the truck had zero issues with. They were not prepared with the supplies to move items up stairs and there was a major issue with payment. They expected us to pay the extra thirty minutes with cash and no receipt and asked me to run to the bank to get the cash once they were done. I spoke with the owner of the company on this issue and will never use them again.

This request for help was on a Saturday and They sent out two boys totally unprepared and lacked any muscle to do the lifting, which is why I needed help. I did the work myself out of frustration because they could not handle the fridge up or down the stairs. And it COST me $170.00 for the 1 hour that they were there. Very Disappointed.
