Out the Box Moving & Storage

Out the Box had numerous communication and scheduling problems. Their initial response to my query through MovingLabor incorrectly had me down as "unload only" when I had specified "load only". They also informed me that they charge an additional $55 "travel fee" despite their MovingLabor listing saying that the quoted price was all inclusive. Three days before my move, I contacted them to re-confirm that they would be arriving between 11AM and 12PM as previously agreed. They responded yes and then soon after sent another message saying that the movers wouldn't be arriving until some time in the afternoon. Then I was contacted a third time to say that their morning move had been rescheduled so I was back on for a 11-12 arrival the day of the move, the movers arrived at 10AM. I had barely returned with the truck from U-Haul by that time. I also hadn't had time to disconnect my washer and dryer since they arrived so early. Regardless, they started counting their two hour window from when they arrived despite my not being completely ready for workers themselves were courteous and careful, but a little slow. I don't really have a problem with them, but I have serious problems with the management of Out the Box. As it was becoming evident that we would not complete in 2 hours (due in part to time spent on activities that were going to be completed before they arrived), my wife asked them what their hourly rate for extra work would be and how long they were available. They told us the rate and said they could stay for as long as we needed. At 1:30PM, the movers got a call from their manager and told us they were leaving! We had scheduled for 11-12 arrival and 2 hours of work; they shouldn't have had anything else scheduled before 2PM at the earliest. I was left to finish loading the truck by myself without any equipment, as they of course took their dollies with them.
