This was the worst moving experience I have ever had and I regret ever having contacted your company. The agreement was for 2 movers to come between 12-5pm and call 30 mins in advance to get directions. Three "kids" showed up in a beat up car after 4 pm - never having called. They said they could not find the house and forgot the paperwork with the phone number. They looked like gang members - all about 20 years old and covered of tattoos with their pants hanging off. Our neighbors even called to see if we were OK because they saw three gang members coming back to our house! As soon as they arrived, one went into the bathroom and was there for 20 mins while the others just sat in the car. One got out finally and said they had to leave because he had to go to another job! They would come back later in the night. We said absolutely not - that WE also had a reservation and it was not our fault that all three of them showed up when we only reserved for 2. They then called their supervisor again and after about another 15 mins they finally said they would stay. One man, Larry, was fairly friendly and seemed to know a bit about moving. The other two did not, and one was downright rude. They told us that they only did what we told them, so we had to figure out all the arrangements ourselves in terms of packing and loading the furniture. They did work for just about 2 hours and then did the paperwork.
I can only say that the boys saved our backs a bit of the work, but the entire ordeal was a disaster. When I arranged with Elite to provide movers - at a very steep price - I expected real movers to show up. People who do this as a living. Not a couple of young kids who could care less and had no experience at all. I would never recommend your company to anyone. I hope that this information helps you to provide more accurate information to potential customers - at a minimum you should let people know what service is being provided.
