I was charged starting at 11:30 a.m. meanwhile, the movers only got started at 12:15. The taller mover (I apologize for not knowing his name), spent 20 minutes trying to get me to take him to home depot to buy rope, to lower the boxes down from the balcony, finally I had to stop him to say I wasn't comfortable with that. The same gentlemen was on his phone the majority of the time while on the job, which in turn, took a lot longer to move our things. I was told the movers would bring standard tools, to take furniture apart. They did not supply anything, so I had to take mirrors off of dressers and so forth. Same gentlemen offered to drive the truck to Pittsburgh because it was a household of females, I guess he thought we couldn't handle it? Then he said you could always call me and I'll do it for cheaper than the company is offering. Very unprofessional. I spent 447.00 for a very poor experience. On Sunday, June 25, I drove the uhaul from Blandon to Pittsburgh, and as I was unloading it, I found several damaged and broken items from how they packed the truck. We took pictures of the damages to have proof. Overall, setting up the move and talking to ELITE MOVING, was the only good thing about this whole experience. But with the actual movers and now the condition of some of our things, we are very disappointed that we spent so much money for damages, broken pieces and now added stress! Elite Moving Labor- I spoke to Chris today about our experience and he was great. He really listened and hopefully will get to the bottom of all of this. Thanks Chris, for hopefully shedding some light on a bad experience!
