We are very unhappy with Moyers Moving Services they did a poor job and wasted time and over charged us for the work they turned a 4 to 5 hour job max into a 14 hour job. We reserved two guys for 2 hours of packing and 2 hours of loading time for a 950sqft 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment we had already had almost the entire apartment already packed up and ready to load. We rented an ABF trailer with 8 feet of space on it to load. The two moving guys showed up around 9:00am in there personal car with no dollies and only a couple boxes which were the wrong boxes. We talked about how we wanted everything done so they went to get the right products from u-haul to do the job. When they returned they still did not have a dolly and they did not have everything they needed to do the job properly. They had to carry one or two boxes at a time down to the trailer at a time slowing them down. They took apart our exercise bike completely which was not needed taking hours it just wasted time and we still have not found the hardware to put it back together. They also took our bed completely apart which was not nessesary breaking a section and not saying anything to us about it. They took the headboard and footboard completely apart wasting even more time and did not wrap any of it causing it to get damaged in the move. We are missing parts to our office chair. When the trailer arrived to us in Montana we hired a moving company to unload the trailer which only took 2 guys 2 1/2hrs to unload with the trailer a block down the street and the apartment on the second floor. When they went to open the load wall they discovered the entire load shifted and was slammed up against the trailer wall, They said that should of never happened if it was properly loaded. The entire load was slammed up against a tall glass lamp. Our brand new futon has tears in it because they didn't wrap it like they were asked to. Every thing was covered in dirt. We should not of had to clean everything that we took the time to pack because boxes were smashed or ripped open because of the lazy way your crew stacked it and loaded the trailer. The crew also dropped boxes because they had no dolley to use to carry them down a flight of stairs and each time they took heavy ones down they dropped them before taking them outside to the truck. Frankly I would think that after our phone call to Emily regarding this matter, she would of wanted to see the photos we took instead of placing the blame on ABF before she had full knowledge of what happened. She has not made any attempt to contact us back since our first call to her about the mess we were left with because of her crew and her lack of communication with them. She said she would call us back on Monday which was two days later and she still has not returned that call or any other calls that I have left her in the past few weeks. We have scratches, dents and even chunks out of our bed and two ladder book shelves. I had several boxes of books that are rare and out of print that are damaged because of the books being dropped.
