8/10/2015Portable Storage Load The two gentlemen were very polite and professional and worked very very hard. I wasn't aware that I couldn't pay by check. I was very unhappy that they arrived late.

We were extremely dissatisfied with everything about this service. First, the guys arrived over an hour late (at 11am instead of 10am as contracted) and when we told them we only had the elevator till noon, they didn't seem to care.Then,it took them an hour to empty the truck and bring it up to my apartment floor, but for some reason it took an additional two hours to carry everything a shorter distance from the freight elevator to my apartment. They brought everything into the apartment chaotically without even asking where things went. Then they said they did not have tools to put the bed together, or even attach a mirror to the dresser. We were explicitly told by Chris when we contracted with Elite that they always have tools on them. In addition on the Elite website it advertises this service and even says in the FAQ that standard tools are brought by the movers. This is the sole reason I chose your company! When we called Elite at the time of the moving, the first person we spoke to said we were correct about them being able to put together furniture. The next person then disagreed and tried to tell us the bed was complicated when it was not (how would they even know?). We did not want to pay for the service and finally ended up talking directly with Anthony. Of the two men that came to do the move, the one in charge was not very professional as soon as he had a problem to deal with. Anthony said they usually have tools but they forgot them. He did not offer any recourse or assistance with the problem. He refused to send anyone back to us at a later date to provide the service we were contracted for. The people we spoke to at Elite also offered no assistance when we complained to them. Anthony claims he only was charging us for 2 hours instead of the 3 but the truth is it should not have taken that additional hour and we did much of the work needed ourselves. I ended up paying my balance due of $160 but felt this service was worth half of that at best. We ended up unwrapping everything ourselves and finding another moving company to come assemble the bed and attach the mirror,which they did in under 30 minutes with a standard screw driver. I would never recommend this company to anyone and have gone on to tell people of this horrible experience.

Both of the men who helped us were great!! Very professional and courteous. They worked very hard to get the job done as quickly as possible. They also were very careful in handling our furniture and other items. I would recommend them and Anthony's Moving Services(and Elite Moving Labor)to everyone, and we would certainly ask for them to help us again.
