I hired 4 movers for a difficult job and as recommended by Elite. However one fellow was not used because he didn’t work well with the others. In essence I paid for 4 movers but only 3 were utilized. Instead, he stood aside and watched the others. For that reason I believed I overpaid for the move

The crew did a phenomenal job however the company informed them that they were only moving one heavy item and not a house full of furniture. I felt bad for them. They did well despite being clearly surprised of all the work they had to do.

The movers themselves were efficient and professional, taking great care with items. Unfortunately the company was not, parking was not factored into a downtown Manhattan in building move, they tried to charge us for the time that it took for them to find a space and threatened to pull the labor because it was after the allocated time. It was the second time that we'd used this company and we wont be next time we move.
