9/5/2022Portable Storage Unload The most unprofessional rude and try to leave the job 1/2 done and finish 20 minutes early.. then started yelling at me.. I was so afraid I called the police on them

Absolutely a horrific experience with this outfit! I’ve moved internationally, across the US, many interstate moves and some local in-town moves as well…and I’ve never encountered such an unprofessional group. Deposit paid, appointment and location confirmed. No showed on moving date and left me hanging with total uncertainty as freight elevators have to be reserved ahead of time. I ended up moving most of the items myself and having to hire another crew last minute for the rest. Others may not be able to pivot as quickly and would end up with a lot more costs! I would rate this a 0 if possible and recommend to STAY AWAY EVEN IF YOU ARE DESPERATE! I’m going after my deposit for a full refund as well!

My original appointment was for 11am. They called the same day I booked and asked if they could change it to 12 which I said was no problem. The day of I received a text at approx 1130 am stating they were in Boston and running a little late. At approx 1pm I started to text to see when they would be here. They answered and said customer had a lot of stuff and it took them longer then anticipated, that they were leaving Boston then and their GPS stated 1hr 20 min. That was at approximately 3pm and they finally arrived close to 5pm. The 26 ft truck was half empty by now. They scratched my hardwood floors and told me just to put mayo on the thinking about the 2 hr window how is that even realistic when you also offer 75.00 hr if more time is needed. They should be able to call someone and tell them the situation so another crew can be dispatched. I understand any company is looking for profit but this was ridiculous!!

The rating for the timeliness is because they were 30 minutes past the determined time. With that said, they were well worth the wait. They were very personable and conscientious. We were very happy with the outcome. Please do not publish.

All went very well. Good crew leader took the time to understand what I wanted done, then made it happen. Crew was polite and diligently did the unloading and placement of all items as I needed. Reasonable price. Would hire them again.
