2/7/2022Truck Load & Unload Sergio and Kevin did a fine job, which was to load furniture from my storage unit into my new one-bedroom apartment, and then put the legs back on the dining room table and twin bed frame. They were courteous and professional, quickly loaded and then unloaded the truck, and then set up the furniture in the new apartment well enough.I would hire them again and highly recommend them, with the suggestion that if you do need furniture to be assembled/ disassembled that you examine your furniture to ascertain what tool(s) may be needed and then clarify with them ahead of time whether they will have the necessary tools, or if you’ll need to provide it, (and also what form of payment they will accept.

From the start I knew this was going to be a bit iffy. I requested an arrival window between 1-3pm, which was accepted. Somebody from the company called me at least three times leading up to, and on the day of, my move asking if I could make other ETAs worked because of external circumstances that had nothing to do with me. I understand things can come up, but to do this three-four times was pretty unprofessional and a bit stressful. I was also assured that the movers would have tools to take apart my bed frame (which is not complicated to disassemble). The movers showed up with one tool that didn't work, so they sat around while my doorman asked the maintenance crew if they had additional tools to lend (which they did not). The movers did end up going to buy the tools they needed, but it significantly pushed back our departure time and we had to drive our uHaul in rush hour traffic as a movers were nice, but a bit spacey and totally forgot about a bunch of things that still had to be loaded into the truck at one point. In all, these seemed like young kids who did this as a side hustle and not professional movers whatsoever. Everything ended up loaded in fine in the end, but because of the initial disorganization and on-site unpreparedness I probably wouldn't use this company again. Moving is stressful as it is without the moving company adding to it.
